About Our CouncilTransfiguration Council 10362 was granted it's charter on May 7th, 1990. From an initial membership of 36, the council has grown to over 250 members. In Fraternal Year 2005-2006, our members logged approximately 2500 volunteer/service hours and donated thousands of dollars to a wide variety of charitable causes. Our membership reflects the diversity of our Transfiguration community. We are Catholic gentlemen, ages 18 through retirement, representing many career endeavors including skilled craftsmen, business owners and executives, union workers, educators, attorneys, and other professionals. Our ethnicity is also representative of our parish at large – with one exception: We seek to include Hispanic gentlemen, initially through formation of a Knight’s Roundtable where the language barrier may be bridged in a comfortable setting, and eventually full immersion into our ranks as these gentlemen learn the English language. The Knights of Columbus is probably best described as a Catholic family fraternal service organization. Our council is one of more than 12,000 councils worldwide. We are not a secret society; only specific ceremonies for the advancement through Knighthood are privately held. In general, membership in the Knights is an excellent way for Catholic gentleman to find refuge and friendship among other men of Catholic faith and join in to help in the many charitable works of our order Fraternal Year 2009-2010 Officers:
