Turning to the all-merciful Father, we now offer him our prayers: "That the Christians who work in areas where the conditions of the poor, the weak, and the women and children are most tragic, may be signs of hope, thanks to their courageous testimony to the Gospel of solidarity and love." (Holy Father's Missionary Intention) That leaders of governments will work to insure that all people can live in full freedom, dignity, and security. That our parish community will be a place where the mercy of God is cherished and shared with others. That the power of Christ's resurrection will put an end to the culture of death. For those who live in confusion, ignorance, or skepticism: that they may know the truth and the light of the risen Christ. For the grace this week to replace all doubt with the certainty of the Gospel. Loving Father, the resurrection of your Son gives us a new birth to a living hope. Let us live in that hope always, through Christ our Lord. Amen. Knights of Columbus Prayer Our lady, Queen of the Knights, bless all the activities of our order. Keep us true to our pledge to extend the Kingship of thy Divine Son on earth. Through thine intercession, win for us the grace ever to exemplify, in our public and private lives, the virtues which should characterize those specially dedicated to the service of the heavenly court. Make us always aware that as your Knights we are constantly observed, our faith judged, and our order appreciated.
